Today’s card I made for my grandma. I wanted to include lots of hearts and flowers 😉
so I decided to go with an image from Bildmålarna, a Swedish company that unfortunately doesn’t exist anymore.
I stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored it with my beloved Faber Castell Pitt Brush markers. In the original image she was holding a small heart. I fussy cut that out and used a heart from Magnolia – yet another Swedish stamp company. I raised her with dimensionals and tucked the heart under her to make it look as though she was holding this heart all along.
The sentiment was stamped on a tag and that too was tucked in behind the main image.
For the background I made my own patterned paper by stamping and embossing the same heart that she is holding onto some card stock and afterwards applying distress ink all over that piece.
I hope you like it. 🙂
